I am a physical therapist. Just received the device and trying it for myself and few of my patients. Somewhat difficult to feel proper muscle engagement especially in sidebending and flexing. Works relatively well for rotations. Will continue to try but not as significant and amazing as expected. I purchased the neckslevel pro.
Got for my son who has hEDS and a lot of neck pain. He’s been using it for a couple weeks and says it’s been really helpful! First thing to work well for him
After initial problems with sale price the very friendly customer service helped me a ton! also raxes and duty were included so no fuss with customs. excited to try 😍
I purchased the NecksLevel glide for neck pain and stiffness. So far, the results have been excellent. Easy to use and effective tool for dealing with neck issues and injuries. Plus, the free 30 minute discovery call was very beneficial.
After three years in physical therapy and numerous lidocaine shots, steroid shots, ablations, etc... I was able to regain a small amount of mobility in my neck. However, I still find the side-to-side neck rotations for PT to be difficult and painful. I usually lay my head on a slippery surface (hardwood) in order to reduce resistance when turning from side to side, and wished there was something like a pilates reformer for my neck. I could not believe it when I saw the ad on Instagram for NecksLevel, it was like someone finally made the exact tool I needed to keep working on my range of motion and to build strength. I've spent so so much money on orthopedic devices that don't really do anything- cervical traction devices, mob devices, even a corrective exercise personal trainer in addition to my physical therapist. I mean thousands of dollars over a decade, so much wasted money. The NecksLevel is worth every single penny. I am over the moon thrilled with the NecksLevel and cannot recommend it highly enough. It makes doing my neck exercises smoother but also allows me to build strength- amazing!! The radicular pain down my right arm has decreased and my range of motion is getting better. I wish there was something like this for pelvic tilts too!
I’m 38 years old and have dealt with neck pain for 22 years due to a car accident and military service. Recently, I suffered a severe disc injury from using the Iron Neck for chin tucks. Using a 5 lb resistance band for 1–2 sets of 10 reps with a 5-second hold—ironically, given their claim that "98% of users have pain reduction"—caused a herniation.
The injury caused intense 8/10 pressure in my upper shoulder blade and radiculopathy, leading to numbness and tingling down my arm into my fingers. I was prescribed heavy medication, but even with it, the pain made it difficult to sleep.
I decided to try the Necks Level at a 1 lb resistance, doing 1 set of 10 reps, which included the rotation stretch, resisted rotation, chin tucks, and neck traction. Because my neck is still highly sensitive, I only did the bare minimum, figuring some movement is better than nothing.
Immediately after, I felt increased pain-free mobility and noticed my neck muscles firing much more efficiently. I believe the mild movement promoted blood flow, while better muscle engagement provided stability. I especially appreciate the stretching and traction features.
As for the Iron Neck, I suspect the downward gravitational force while standing, combined with the sawing neck motions for chin tucks, created too much shear force on my cervical discs. I’m looking forward to seeing long-term healing results with the Necks Level since it is a lot gentler than the Iron Neck setup. Opted for the smaller version for traveling purposes and the extra strength resistance bands to use someday.
Great device for at home neck strengthening! I have a connective tissue disorder that causes joint instability. I keep very fit to keep things under control, but hadn’t found a good way to strengthen my neck. I tried PT, but paying a $100 copay bill every week just to be told to do chin tucks and arm raises I could easily do on my own was NOT worth it, and was breaking the bank. Now I’m making real strengthening progress in the comfort of my own home for a fraction of the cost of just one month of Pt sessions. And using the glide is actually kind of fun.
It does what bands can do, but with an ease that is second to none. Seriously has helped strengthen my neck after TOS surgery in a way that I wouldn’t be able to do with my post-op instructions.
I recently had an artificial disc replacement surgery on level c5-6 due to a herniated disc and I think the most important part of the healing journey is to feel that trust again in your body.
Since I’ve started using NecksLevel, I’ve noticed myself becoming a lot more confident in the way I move. I was using resistance bands before but I didn’t feel like I was making any progress or seeing results. With NecksLevel, I’ve been able to see results and trust my body more since it’s a controlled movement and I can’t be happier with my purchase! 😊
I just started with my neckslevel after traction as recommended by my doctor and am loving the ease of the machine and exercises. So much better than endless chin tucks and not knowing if I am using the right resistance band
starting it hoping it works but it definitely eases my head and helps me with exercising my neck
The head band slips and I have to hold it with my hand. Its ok overall. Somewhat useful, not a game changer.
I have several devices to help treat neck pain but NecksLevel is the only one that feels like it calms my neck pain while also providing neck strengthening.
It sets me up for the day.
I’ve tried so many devices and ways to strengthen neck muscles with my patients through the years, this one is the best by far! It works wonders for my patients with instability in the cervical spine.
14 years ago I fell off a 40 foot bridge. I went from training to play college football and competing in Mixed Martial Arts to being lucky if I could sit up for 15 minutes at a time. These past 14 years have been filled with therapy but nothing has improved my migraines/pain symptoms more than the NecksLevel!
Neck rehab is going great this device really works
Tried it at physical therapy to strengthen my neck after 10yrs of Botox for migraines and knew I needed one. Just did my first at home session and feel so much more mobility in my neck. Excited to strengthen my neck, something I’ve been neglecting for my whole life.
Literally. From the cost of the products….there is nothing like this anywhere online and that’s why I knew I had to get it! It’s such a simple but effective product. I highly recommend it and to use it wisely with an injury.
I work with concussion patients doing physiotherapy and this device allows me to do manual therapy and strengthening and joint proprioception training all at the same time, which is game changing!
After struggling with my neck for a decade I finally found this device. It gave me a strength building exercise that didn’t over do it and set me back. Consistent use has made a world of difference in my day to day pain! I have far fewer “flare ups”. Highly recommend!
This is such a small investment for a big gain in my health. My neck feels free and my muscles relaxed! Thank you Neckslevel!
I thought it was mad expensive for what it was, but it’s truly a fine piece of craftsmanship. You can tell nothing was skimped on. Feels like a genuine high end medical device.
